We’re thrilled to announce that our alpha test for AEXXOS has officially wrapped up! Thanks to each of you—our dedicated alpha pioneers—for diving into the galaxy, testing new mechanics, reporting issues, and sharing invaluable feedback. Your insights have been instrumental in refining core systems, squashing bugs, and shaping the early experience of our interstellar sandbox.

What’s next?
With alpha behind us, the team is shifting full steam ahead toward our Steam Early Access launch. Over the coming weeks we’ll be:
Polishing gameplay: further balance tweaks, UI enhancements, and performance optimizations.
Expanding content: new missions, starship upgrades, and resource nodes are in active development.
Gear up for launch: preparing store assets, trailers, and community hubs to make Early Access as smooth as possible.

AEXXOS – ALPHA PATCH 0.1.2 DEPLOYED

Patch 0.1.2 brings new discoveries, improved early-game balance, and critical fixes to smooth out your journey through the stars. Here’s what’s fresh in the galaxy:

NEW CONTENT
Unstable AEXXIUM Asteroids are now spawning in deep space.
✦ This ultra-rare material is highly prized by the Galactic Marshals.
✦ Mine it. Survive. Deliver it to a Marshal station to earn a Commendation.

Stolen Syrum can now be recovered and turned in at any Galactic Marshal station.
✦ Find it. Deliver it to a Marshal station to earn a Commendation.

Added a Registration Button to the login page.
✦ Clicking it opens the registration webpage directly – simple and fast for new recruits.

BALANCE CHANGES
Upgrade drop rate on Training Drones reduced from 15% → 7%.
✦ Will reduce POOR Unique Spam.

Training Drone HP lowered from 100 → 50.
✦ Designed to help new players clear early threats with others in the area.

Ammo cooldowns increased across the board by roughly 50%.
✦ Expect a more tactical pace in ship-to-ship combat.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
Planet Day/Night Cycle has been slowed down.
✦ Improved realism and lighting dynamics.

Fixed ammo cooldowns to prevent swap-hitting exploits.
✦ Combat integrity has been restored.

Additional backend and server optimizations implemented.
✦ Improved overall stability, latency, and performance during peak hours.

AEXXOS Patch 0.1.1

Quick patch with some adjustments and fixes:

Removed the off-screen indicator for UNSTABLE AEXXIUM.
Moved NPC dialog panels slightly off-center. Centered text was hard to read in some spots.
Fixed the Poor Phasor showing up as “Common” — it now displays the correct rarity.
Some small background tweaks to performance and synchronization.

Training Drones:

Upgrade drop rate lowered from 25% to 15%.
No longer drop credits.
Now have a 50% chance to drop poor ammo.

AEXXOS Development Update

Captains-to-be, we’re thrilled to share more behind-the-scenes progress on AEXXOS as we bring this universe closer to your command! Here’s a look at what we’ve recently accomplished and a hint at what’s on the horizon.

Completed Updates:

Improved Server Stability & Performance: We’ve focused on optimizing the server to support epic-scale adventures, ensuring a smoother, lag-free experience even during the most intense space battles.
Anti-Cheat Development: Fair gameplay is crucial to us. Our anti-cheat systems are advancing to keep the galaxy a level playing field, allowing all captains to compete with skill and strategy.
Client Performance Enhancements: We’re making sure the client delivers seamless graphics and responsiveness, immersing you fully in the AEXXOS experience.
UI Rework and Improvements: Navigating the galaxy is now more intuitive and visually engaging, thanks to our redesigned user interface.

In Progress:

Planet Defensives & Stationary Turrets: Get ready for armed defenses! These additions will bring new strategic depth, letting you face or control formidable stationary defenses.

Projects in Development

Our flagship project, AEXXOS, is currently in development. In AEXXOS, you take on the role of a spacecraft captain, exploring, trading, mining, and conquering a vast galaxy. With over 25 ship types, 20 different upgrades, and stunning graphics, AEXXOS is designed to handle thousands of players concurrently in a single galaxy. We’re incredibly excited about this project and can’t wait to share more with you in the coming months.
